TikTok hosted its first Cape Town TikTok Creator Meetup at The Harrington House this past weekend. The training was attended by a number of creators in the city which included dancer @kelly_kikx and @aaron.perry. The 2 hour long session was facilitated by Mandy Weiner, the country’s best known and most credible journalist. This was an opportunity for the creators to understand the South African media landscape as well as to introduce them to each other.

TikTok launches new TikTok Tips account to share platform safety and well-being advice. The global account uses popular TikTok influencers to deliver messages about user safety and well-being, including tips on TikTok’s safety tools work.
